Healthy moringa snack

GLUTEN FREE - DAIRY FREE

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup rolled oats

1/2 cup peanut butter

5 tbsp coconut oil

1 tbsp of your best moringa powder

2 dates, pitted

1/4 cup maple syrup

1/4 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tbsp water

pinch sea salt

2 tbsp chia seeds

1/4 cup coconut flakes

1 tbsp flax seeds

METHOD :

1 - in a food processor, blend all ingredients except the chia seeds.

Blend until ingredients reach a thick , smooth consistency.

To ensure even blending, you may need to stop the blender, scrape ingredients from the side, and restart the blender.

2- Add the rest of the ingredients and pulse a few times until distributed evenly.

3 - Carefully remove the blade. Begin to forming the mixture into 1-2 inch squares (or balls).

4- Place on a lined baking tray and store in fridge for an hour.

Squares can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for about five days or in the freezer. Optional to aa melted chocolate and slivered nuts for extra decadence.
